I consider myself a swimmer lover. I give everything for swimming, i practice as much as possible and swim as much as i can, i started to swim since around 9 years old. Not perferctly learned the strokes or any real swimming style. Started to really get into swimming once i joined the swimming team. I already knew how to swim before i joined of course. My friend taught me a few things, then i started to practice and do around 30 laps or even more each day, some of my friends who are learning to swim, keep asking me how old i started to swim. I don't know what to say but i just usually respond the same answer "couple of years" And they ask me how i got so good. And i tell them to keep practicing and never give up..
I try to improve swimming, even though "some" people consider me a good swimminer, but i don't think i am comparing to my few other friends. Everyday i try to swim and at least improve my timing and trying to perfect the strokes. I am still a long way to go.
Once i see a pool that is open. It really gets my nerves and makes me feel to change real quick and get into the water and start swimming. I don't care if is cold or warm, i have been in those situation where the water was quite a bit dirty. I still jump in because i love swimming. Swimming is like my most favorite sport and i am really committed to it.
